I know what you mean about getting stuck and thinking you should be making something else but just not being able to force yourself. You were right to try something different. I have been in exactly the same spot - I should be making a doll I started but have been making free patterns instead. In fact, my procrastination has lead me to make my own free pattern. Now that is desperate for distraction!

Apparently, dolls and masks do the same thing: tell us what they do and do NOT want to be! I have the same issue sometimes with the Ancestress Series masks I make. Funny, isn't it?

Venus, I know what you mean about other things taking precedence. I was swamped getting ready for a doll show and finishing up a few quilts. Great to see your new dolls.
